Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them. – A. A. Milne
One day a few weeks ago, I was taking the dog outside. We walked around the side of the house, and there, growing near the wall, were dandelions. They were the first I’d seen, and it felt like it officially wasn’t winter anymore.
Of course, now dandelions are everywhere. Or almost everywhere. There are always people who try to get rid of them.
I’ve never really understood this. They’re pretty and cheery and look like summer. And it’s fun to blow the fluffy things away.
Besides, they’re stubborn and hard to get rid of completely. Why bother?
Go out and enjoy the dandelions.
