Spring

This week is my spring break. Today it was actually spring-like outside, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to last long. But we went on a walk. ‘Twas nice.

I’ve been doing article reviews for an assignment for my Intro to Counseling Theories class; they’re supposed to be the articles I will use as sources in a paper. I would so much rather just write the paper. These are boring. And I don’t need to do them to write a good paper. But thus far I have managed one each day.

I’ve also been doing some writing for myself. Nothing earth shattering, but it’s nice to sit down with a notebook and a pencil and write for myself.

I have the last batch of Doctor Who episodes I haven’t watched from the library. I should be finished Thursday or Friday. It’s going to be odd.

Today I started reading a book about Benedict Arnold. I’m not very far yet, but it seems like it’s going to be interesting. I don’t really know a whole lot about him.

My dad and I gave our dog a bath today. She was less than thrilled. She attempted to hide in the curtains when she figured out that the water running was for her. It was pretty cute, but we were not moved.

I should probably get back to alternately playing FreeCell and working on my review of “A Unified Protocol for the Transdiagnostic Psychodynamic Treatment of Anxiety Disorders: An Evidence-Based Approach” (sound thrilling?). When I get it finished, I’ll allow myself to see if there have been any updates on a fanfiction a couple friends of mine are writing. That’s my motivation for writing a review each day. It helps. Sort of. Kind of. Not really.

Anyway. I wish you all a lovely evening. Farewell!
